This is a team that supports adults with learning difficulties to access community and leisure opportunities to give them some form of independence and control in the gym, swimming pool, and sports hall.

This is an independent charity that helps people recovering after a stroke. They work in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and the surrounding areas. A small friendly team of stroke coordinators, group organizers, counselors, and volunteers, provides information, practical support, friendship, and counseling in the months and years following a stroke.

Carer Support Centre (Bristol and South Gloucestershire)

This is a local charity that supports people in Bristol and South Gloucestershire who are carers for family and friends in one need or the other. They offer expert advice, emotional support, telephone counseling, and understanding. All services are free.

Alzheimer’s Society

This charity-minded society advocates for change in dementia care. It helps fund research towards a cure for dementia while providing support to people currently living with dementia. It also organizes social activity groups for those living with dementia, as well as support carers for people living with dementia.
